Thought I would do something about that.
Lately I have been working on my album, and I am closer than I have ever been to releasing one. Which I am excited about. I do not let myself get discouraged, cause sometimes it feels like I am doing it all for nothing. I am psuedo-finished with 4 songs(always things to fix!) and i have about 8 more in progress. One that is almost done has a really nice hook! I will probably be dropping that one soon.

Yes inspired by me haha. The discouraging reality that sometimes your inward motivation is the only thing that keeps you going. About a true belief to keep going despite your experiences.
Lets make a deal Howie - I have actually worked out the core melody in the chorus, and I think there is alot of potential in this one. Its basically about a guy that sees a girl and is immediately convinced she is the one. The idea is he doesn't need to see any more cases he's ready to make a deal.
Friends In Heaven
- This song is actually a big idea for me that I really want to succeed. Also easily interpreted negatively. Vaguely its about loving someone who is no longer available. The problem being is that there no longer exists a possibility of friendship because that person is married. But someday in heaven you can be friends again and it will be ok. This song is about love that transcends a romantic love, but is inhibited by natural and very necessary boundaries. I see this succeeding as a country song, and I may give it out to a country singer when I am done
The hardest songs for me to write are songs born out of ideas. Its way easier if I make up the song as I go... But i still want to do it! It should be worth it.
